BREWSTER IN HIS ADOPTIVE HOME WITH HIS NEW BUDDY, TOBY!
BREWSTER WAS ADOPTED - 28 Jan 07!
23 Jan 07: Due to a military deployment to Iraq in May, we are being forced to move and cannot take our dog, "BREWSTER". We have only one week to get our affairs in order. Our dog is wonderful and this is very difficult for us. He is 19 months old, a border collie/retriever mix we rescued when he was only 5 weeks old. He is our baby. We are from Montana but came here in April for work so he is used to be able to run free. He is a very good dog. He is trained to sit and lay down and stay. He is house broken and needs to be in the house at night. He doesnt like being alone and loves other animals including cats. He will take ownership of the family especially one or two people in the family and will be completely faithful. He has all his shots and has been treated once for an ear infection about 3 months ago but his ear is fine now. He has a tendency to be fearful of strangers and will be skiddish around them. The best thing in that case is to have the strangers ignore him until he is ready to go to them or have the stranger offer him a treat or offer him a gift of some time. He loves his chew rawhide bones and he likes tug of war. He is 65 pounds. Please let me know if you can help of if you know of anyone who would adopt of foster him. We can provide a month or two of food for him.
