30 March Savanna's soldier writes: Savanna is an adorable puppy; 5 months old with all up to date immunizations; She has served our Task Force here in Afghanistan so well, totally a morale booster. The new aviation task force wants her destroyed, and with only a few days left on the ground I am trying to get her a ride back to the States where one of our pilots is adopting her. She has a carrier and a letter of health from the vet. Please let me know how to proceed; Much appreciation. .

Savanna arrived in the US on 13 April 05 - Many thanks to Karen for clearing customs with her and delivering her to the Vet Clinic for boarding before her last flight to her home. Thank you to Javed, Pam & Fareed for their shipping help from Afghanistan.
