17 July: Sheeba's Soldier writes: My Company and I found a furry friend that has been with us through both the best of times and the very worst of times here in Iraq. I found Sheeba as a very small puppy hiding underneath our Stryker vehicle. We built her a makeshift dog house and as she grew older she began coming out on patrols with us and has made many media appearances. We have grown very attached to her and I have made it my personal mission to do everything possible to get her safely to the U.S. Thankfully I have the support of my chain of command, and soon we will be deploying back to the States and I told Sheeba and myself I would do anything to get her back. I'm getting out and could use a friend who has been through the same stuff as myself. If you would help me I would be forever in your debt and a loyal friend to your organization.
