Update: Sinbad arrived in the US on 25 July

12 January: I have a Mascot for 10 months here in Baghdad, and i need to bring my little Friend home to the US. A local worker brought me Sinbad when he was bearly 4 weeks old , he told me that his mom was driven over by a Hummer when they were on a mission, knowing I would take care of him he brought the little cat to me. I had to feed him with boxed milk for about 3 weeks before he could eat solid food, now he thinks I am his mom!! He does not go away from me no matter where i go, like a little puppie dog. I closed him in my heart like nothing else and i think he deserves to have a good home he is so dependent on me, he probably would not survive when i have to leave and without him it would break my heart too know I left him here to die. I already have cats back home and my wife is ok to have one more. So, if you can help me out in any way, I and Sinbad for sure would appreciate it alot, he is the Mascot for our Camp in Baghdad. Almost everyone nows him by name and likes it when he comes by to visit them.

Update: Chaco arrived in the US on 6 July

5 February: Chaco's Soldier writes: Hello from not so sunny Afghanistan! Our camp mascot Chaco has been a godsend for our camp. Having her on camp helps with the day to day stress of being here. We rescued Choco form a local village where she was half starved and flea ridden. We enjoy her company and spoil her rotten! Anyone wishing to help with her transportation will have no problems with her. She is fast becoming a very well trained dog. Thank you all in advance for your help, it is greatly appreciated.
